I discovered this place recently and absolutely love it. Wesley and Lodewijk are great trainers and the community is amazing as well. It is a nice variation to my regular weightlifting training.Would highly recommend!

I've been going there for 6 months now. I started because I got injured and couldn't do my usual sport but I think I'm not going back. Trainings are more than anything fun and the atmosphere is great. The trainers really manage to set an open environment and stimulate peer encouragement. Trainings are suitable for all levels in any day as the trainers know very well how to adapt the exercises for everyone. Calisthenics is a very complete sport and the people in charge really know what they are doing, I have not had an injury and have noticeably gotten stronger overall, further I feel my mind-body connection has improved. All in all, it is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone.

Was looking for a place where I would not feel overwhelmed by performance anxiety. I usually like to workout on my own pace. In Calisthenics Amsterdam I felt welcomed by the experienced people. There is a lot of care by the teachers for you to not over do it and be mindful of your own body. It taught me a lot about how working out can be enjoyable and something you gift to yourself. It motivated me to look for more challenging workouts. What I learned there about my self and body I will take with me for life :)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everyone is strong enough! We train with only our body weight, and all exercises can easily be modified. If you can perform a push-up from your knees, you’re more than okay to join! If you’re still not sure if you’re fit enough we offer Personal Training to help you with the first step.

Depending on the weather, make sure you are well-dressed and, if necessary, bring gloves with you and also bring a towel, a water bottle and preferably some fruit for afterwards, as this will help you recover faster.

Only on the training location in Noord we have an indoor area.

Always make sure you ask advice from a specialist to see if it is wise to train at the moment. During our classes you can always make exercises easier to help stay in the “save” range of training.

Doing Calisthenics has various benefits. Not only does it make you stronger and more fit. It’s about challenging yourself in a safe atmosphere. Get out of your comfort zone, getting stronger and focus on learning new skills.
